ECCV'08 Awards

  • Koenderink Prize for Fundamental Contributions in Computer Vision:
    • Michael Isard and Andrew Blake. Contour Tracking by Stochastic Propagation of Conditional Density. ECCV 1996, 343-356.
    • Olivier Faugeras, Quang-Tuan Luong, and Steve Maybank. Camera self-calibration: theory and experiments. ECCV 1992, 321-334.
    This Prize is awarded to papers published at ECCV that have withstood the test of time. It has a similar purpose to that of the Longuet-Higgins Prize awarded at CVPR.
    As this was the first time that the prize was awarded, all ECCVs up to 1998 were considered. For future ECCVs the prize will be restricted to papers that appeared at the conference ten years before.

  • ECCV 2008 Best Student Paper Award:
