Award Ceremony

  • Koenderink Prize

The Koenderink Prize for Fundamental Contributions in Computer Vision is awarded to papers published at ECCV that have withstood the test of time. It has a similar purpose to that of the Longuet-Higgins Prize awarded at CVPR.
As this is the first time that the prize has been awarded, all ECCVs up to 1998 were considered. For future ECCVs the prize will be restricted to papers that appeared at the conference ten years before.
The members of the prize committee were Jan Olof Eklundh, David Lowe, Jitendra Malik, Roger Mohr and Luc Van Gool.
